The program is aimed at equipping the leaders of Kazakhstani Higher Education, including university rectors, vice-rectors, deans, and heads of departments, with the knowledge, skills, and best practices required to effectively lead and manage higher education institutions in an increasingly complex and dynamic environment. The program addresses the diverse challenges and opportunities faced by higher education leaders, fostering a global perspective, and encouraging a practical application of acquired knowledge and skills. Ultimately, the purpose of this course is to empower top managers in higher education to excel in their leadership roles, drive innovation and excellence within their institutions, and contribute to the ongoing advancement of higher education on a global scale.

The transfer of experience and knowledge in the field of research is not limited only to the activities of professors and teachers of Nazarbayev University. As part of regularly held meetings called “University Bridge” experience and knowledge are exchanged between students, undergraduates and doctoral students of Nazarbayev University and other higher educational institutions of the country. To date, 10 meetings have been held, with the participation of 733 future scientists, facilitating the establishment of connections between novice researchers and the planning of joint projects.
The main purpose of these meetings is to promote collaboration between junior and experienced researchers at Kazakhstan universities. Key topics discussed during the events include research methods, academic writing, literature review, multilingual education, research ethics, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and sharing experiences in teaching and research. University Bridge is an effective mechanism for disseminating knowledge and establishing collaboration in the academic field.
